Preston Parish Council Register of Interests.
The Localism Act 2011 requires Parish Councillors to have their financial and business interests to be published on the East Riding of Yorkshire councils website. In addition where the Parish Council has its own website it must also publish its register of members financial interests on its own site. Without checking, I believe this should have been completed by 1stJuly 2012.
It will be a criminal offence for any councillors to deliberately withhold or misrepresent a financial interest.
Preston Parish Council are not currently hosting their register of interests on the council website, most Parish Councils particularly good ones carry the,
Name,
Address,
Tel: No,
Email address, etc.
For all its Parish Councillors, this is to enable residents to contact their local councillors when needed.
All that information is a matter of public record and in the public domain, just about the only place it isn’t listed is in the Preston Parish Council website. Its the residents of Preston that would have a primary interest in knowing the information so it is accessed here for the attention of residents.
